Dublin-based musician and artist, Stevie Appleby grew up aspiring to be either a punk rocker or an artist. Art seemed to right path for Appleby, as it allowed him a way to rebel against the world around him, a place in which he often felt so uncomfortable. Appleby used his art, as an instrument to create a world of his own, one where he felt at home. Appleby first started painting seriously when he left school at the age of 15. He painted on pizza boxes with the dream of selling them on Grafton street, luckily, a friend gifted him some actual canvas and paints. 10 years later, Appleby is still painting, and eating pizza.
