Eilli Billi Brahin

Born in Morocco to the Berber ethnic group, Brahin travelled to Paris to study art and subsequently settled in Dublin in the seventies where he continued his artistic training at the Institute of Art Design and Technology, Dun Laoghaire. Brahin was noted to name Roderic O'Connor as an influence together with the French impressionists. Along with his work as a painter, Brahin did set design for the theatre, After a battle with cancer, Brahin passed away in January 2014.
