Zier is a self-taught Danish watercolorist based in Dublin since 2001. While simultaneously working professionally as a graphic designer, Zier also focused on his artistic practice, exhibiting in both Denmark and Ireland. Zier uses elements of impressionism to focus on the light's effect on the environment. Rather than painting every detail he looks out for interesting shapes in his subjects and translates these into pure visual language. Zier's technique together with his personal touch, manifests in delicate scenes full of atmosphere and character.
